FIRE SAFETY COURSES

Factories and places of work act cap 514 paragraph 41(1) states that adequate means of fire fighting shall be provided in all places of work and that people working shall have the knowledge of use of such equipment provided.

1.BASIC FIRE SAFETY

Objectives:

To raise awareness on the risks and consequences of fire disasters and inculcate a culture of fire prevention. The participant should also acquire basic knowledge and skills in emergency evacuation procedures, fire fighting, use of different types of fire extinguishers and fire suppression installations.

Target group: Ideal for safety officers, line managers and other personal with

responsibilities for fire safety.

Duration: 1 day (6-8 hrs)


2.FIRE MARSHALS TRAINING

Objectives:

The participants should be able to design, implement and effectively monitor fire safety   policies. They should also learn the necessary skills to suppress small fires use of different types of fire extinguishers, fire suppression installations and safe evacuation of building occupants in such times.

Target group: Ideal for safety officers, office and other places of work staff, line

managers, fire marshals, security personnel and other persons with responsibilities for fire safety.

Duration: 3 days.
